I'm thinking of names for my dog...what do you think???

Personally, I like names that have no more than two syllables. An "ie" or "y" sound at the end makes the name sound very affectionate, and befits a dog of that character. A Scottie, for example, would be quite oddly named, in my humble opinion, with a cutesy name. Scottie's are very proud, kind of serious dogs. LOL. I also think it's best to stay away from names that humans use a lot, especially if the name is one shared by one of your friends or relatives. Some people get rather touchy about that. I have a dominant JR male named Tracker. Suits him to a "t." Maybe you should wait until you get to know your new dog before deciding. Your dog might let you know what he/she likes!
