Is it me or is this stupid to get mad over..?

So I gave my boyfriend a hickey which I normally never do and his mom grounded him and hates me. Sure we are only 17 but still. Is she going to get mad when we're 18 and live together too? I don't know but him and I both agree that that is dumb and pointless. What do you think?
