Im from dallas and thinking of movin to nyc where should i live at and where could i get a job?

The rents are really really high there about $1500 a month for a studio in a good area, some buildings charge a building fee on top of that for $200 a month or more. Plus a lot of places want references from the tri state area, and job references. So it is really really hard to move there with no job and no apartment.
