How can i get my girlfriend more comfortable with me?

i have been dating my current girlfriend for a few months now. i already knew she wasn't the wild and crazy outgoing girl, and thats all fine and dandy with me but i would like her to be more comfortable with me and have her want me as much as i want her. i tell her everyday i think she is beautiful and all that but still she either doesnt respond or responds with one to three word text messages. any suggestions on how i can get her more comfortable with me so we could have an overall better relationship?
