How to identify a pumpkin plant.?

I have a compost pile in my backyard where I throw all of my fruit and vegetable scraps...seeds and rinds. I just found a vine looking plant growing in it and it has yellow flowers. I was wondering if anybody could help identify it, I think its a pumpkin but Im not sure.
