Has anyone taking Lithium been unaffected by weight gain??

I have just started taking lithium after many years using different medications. I refused to take it before as I have not wanted to gain weight but now the benefits of a stable mood are outweighing my weight gain concerns. Not totally though. I am worried that I might get fat and I very much do not want to as I gained twenty five pounds already in the past six months. I currently weigh in at 144lbs. I would like to know if there is anyone out there who has or is taking lithium and not gained. It would be great if I were one who is unaffected and it would be even more great to hear about others who didn't. Even if the most you can offer is a, 'yes I didn't gain' that would put my mind to rest. TIA (^.^)//
