Is it environmentally safe to shampoo the carpets?

I would call a carpet cleaning company....ask for green products to clean your carpet.....My husband and I have owned a cleaning and restoration business for the past three years...we only use green products...we don't use harsh chemicals or products that contain VOCs ( Cancer causing vapors) ....
